Children’s Wellbeing & School bill

Dear Freedom Fighters

As you will have seen the government is already upping the anti, no longer saying that digital ID will save us all from illegal immigrants, but that it will have a plethora of uses – everything from helping to report potholes to make it easier to buy a pint down the pub. They have said that all business directors must sign up to a digital verification in order to continue with their registered business or face financial penalties. You will not be able to register a new business without one.

The Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill whilst many believe the bill to undermine parents in their children’s education and could damage their educational opportunities, this bill will create a new unique digital ID for all children under the guise of making it easier for support services to data-share and better safeguard our children. In reality, this is like a National Insurance number for kids and is very similar to the adult national digital ID, which the government are also planning to roll out to children of 13 and older.

We cannot make it more clear how serious the roll out of digital ID is across the Western world. We must fight back every way that we can. We can be proactive in lots of ways including how we vote, how we shop, how we conduct ourselves online. There is a great deal we can all do talking to friends, colleagues and even strangers in the street. Lobby groups and political campaigns like ours can help put pressure on everyone from MPs and Councillors, to banks, the media and other organisations. Outreach is the best way to talk to strangers in the street. Leafleting is good for reaching people in their homes. Protests and rallies are great for getting like minded people together and showing out strength in numbers to the wider population.
There is no time for apathy, or leaving it to someone else. If we don’t want a totalitarian state and Chinese style social credit systems – we must act now and build momentum before its too late.

Please try and attend a protest or rally, download some leaflets, get involved with a group of proactive people – or start one.
Freedom Alliance was at the mass non-compliance protest rally in London a few weeks ago, we will be speaking at the rally on 1st Nov in Newcastle. There are others around the country and smaller outreach groups all over, often on telegram or Facebook. We try and share as many as we can with you. If you know of any events or are holding one yourself, do let us know and we will advertise it and try and attend, too.
We have launched a special NO TO DIGITAL ID Buymeacoffee campaign page to raise funds for signs and leaflets to take to protests and use in outreach. Please support this campaign, a little can go a long way. Please click here.
We have resources on our website and links to other lobbyist and protest organisations with fantastic resources for you to use too. Again, if you know of any others that we don’t please let us know. Here are a few you may be interested in:

The petition to stop the introduction is now up to 2.9 million signatories. If you have not yet signed it, here it is. Please share widely with family and friends.

We urge everyone to write to your MP about your concerns over digital ID. If you haven't done so yet, please use our template letter below.
If you hear back from your MP please let us know what they say. You can forward their response to us at info@freedomalliance.co.uk, we will use their response in social media posts.

This is a battle we cannot afford to lose!

For freedom!

Leader of Freedom Alliance

Letter to your MP. (Please remember to put your own name, address and contact details in your email.)

Dear MP {Insert name},
I am deeply concerned about the Labour party announcement to introduce a compulsory national Digital ID card to all across the UK.
The government petition to say No to introducing digital ID cards has already reached 2.7 million signatures, nationally, so I know I am not alone with my grave concerns. Your position on this matter will affect how I and thousands of others in our constituency vote in the next General Election.
Amongst my concerns are the following and I would very much like to come to your surgery and discuss them with you.
Keir Starmer clearly stated that digital ID was being brought in to help stop illegals working in the UK. However, it is very unclear how forcing everyone legitimately here in the UK to have a digital ID would stop that. Usual documentation such as passports, driving licence and birth certificates are also at risk of being seriously undermined and mistrusted. People working in the black/grey market are already below the radar, this would have little impact on their ability to obtain work. Implying that a digital ID would somehow curb illegal immigration by stopping the boats is hilarious. Has any research been done on the response to the Digital ID proposal by the next wave of illegals on the beaches of Calais, the deserts of sub-Saharan Africa, the mountains of Afghanistan,  to the threat of a digital ID? People coming to the UK desperately in search of a better life are not going to be so easily dissuaded. Evidence from Italy shows that ID cards did nothing to stem the flow of illegals entering there.
Many people have very well founded concerns over migration and the pressures it puts on services such as hospitals, housing and the threats it can pose to the jobs market, etc. Labour appear to be exploiting these concerns – a digital ID is not the solution. Giving false hope to the public that you have a solution to these problems will only breed yet more public discontent and loss of faith in government.
Given your position as MP you must understand how a digital ID will more likely divide communities and make access to work and services harder for many. As there is a strong public push back against digital ID, have you considered how the public’s non-compliance with digital ID will affect the economy? How many more people will become unemployed due to this? Could such a law push more people into poverty? It is very likely that digital ID laws will, maybe unintentionally, discriminate against and punish working people, particularly those on low incomes, migrants and the elderly or disabled. Access to government services, healthcare, education, jobs, housing, etc. should not be privileges, but given rights. No one should have to prove themselves via digital ID to have them.
If digital IDs are therefore not serving the people of the UK, who are they serving? Who is really benefiting? The markets, the technocrats, the IT companies, Tony Blair and his son, Euan, other tech giants from America to China. It  is not the government’s job to line their pockets in the name of security or efficiency or progress for the British public. The reality is that Digital IDs involve handing a huge amount of power over to the state and to mega corporations, forever. Once ensnared, people will not be able to function outside of this system, thus creating a subclass of people excluded from society. We saw a glimpse of this during Covid with the Vaccine passports and mandates. Around 100k NHS workers stood their ground and refused. Imagine this extrapolated out across all industries within the UK.
Already, we are hearing that the digital ID can be used for everything from reporting pot-holes to collecting your Clubcard points. This mass collection and sharing of data on individuals is highly dangerous and flawed with so much potential for fraud and unprecedented control. With Tony Blair’s think tank even proposing digital IDs could be used to allow neighbours to ‘inform’ on each other in return for the reward of a community impact score, and the huge increase in national mass surveillance, it is easy to see how soon the UK could soon end up with a Chinese style social credit system.
Digital ID must be rejected before it has even started down the slippery slope to a full blown control of the citizen by the state.
I firmly believe that technology should serve us, not control us. I would very much appreciate your agreement and a public statement on why you will be rejecting this proposal for a compulsory Digital ID.
Please make an appointment time/date available for us to discuss this matter.

Best regards
