Carnival in Clacton - and a day of rest

The Clacton Carnival stopped the traffic yesterday by the Pier - and we saw a stunt by the British Democrats seen off by the police. Things are hotting up in Clacton, and it’s not just the weather.

Martin mingled with locals and tourists at the procession - then had a pint with Howling Laud Hope, William Clouston (SDP) and other candidates. Now time to reset with a slower Sunday before the final push in the campaign.
