Freedom Alliance party leader, Martin Davies, is standing as a candidate in the by-election on 13th August.

Whatever the real reason for Reform leader, Nigel Farage, resigning his post to force the election and then stand as a candidate himself, the voters in Clacton deserve a credible alternative. The traditional parties have stepped aside and are not contesting it - why? And the press, even before the nominations were approved, are setting it out as a two-horse race.
